Big Break Pod is about the business of show business
The Big Break Pod was created, as are most things Thomas creates, because Thomas was looking for something that didn’t exist. There are plenty of wonderful podcasts, books, online communities, classes, groups, and clubs for actors, but nothing of the sort for an actor who wants to better understand the business side of show business.
Actors and creators are wonderfully talented, resourceful, interesting, sensitive, and intelligent people – what they are often not, in most cases, is business people and entrepreneurs. Thomas created Big Break Pod to help change that.
About Creator and Host Thomas M. Copeland
Thomas M Copeland is an actor, writer, creator, and entrepreneur. Having achieved a successful career in legal tech, Thomas began transitioning into working on stage and screen in 2024.
Thomas is the founder of Art & Union, a creative production company and the brand behind ShowCoach, an app for improving artistry skills through critiques. Thomas also founded a successful legal tech company called Vinetegrate.
Originally from Florida and having built his resume in the Miami market, Thomas is now living and studying in New York City at The Neighborhood Playhouse, the famed theatre conservatory and home to Sanford Meisner for forty years. He’s a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s in business administration.
